International Revolutionary Committee (IRC) – January 20, 2025

The world faces contradictory trends at the start of 2025, our people suffering horrific scourges, but, at the same time there are indications that humanity will find a way forward out of this current impasse.

The greatest danger we face is of global nuclear war – World War III – undoubtably provoked by the West and targeting the supposed adversaries in the East promoted by the plutocrats. Millions, and potentially billions, of innocent lives would be extinguished, and in a worst-case scenario life on Earth ended.

This war must be averted at all costs. But the build up for war is the result of the contradictions of capitalism that makes the production of weapons the most lucrative enterprise and demands exploitation of peoples and extraction of resources by wars of conquest.

Those weapons are paid for with a dramatic assault on the cost of living for working people in the West. The costs of housing, rent, food and medical care are out of reach because the essentials of life are considered as a choke point to generate profit by the investment banks and private equity firms that run Western nations.

Central to this class warfare against working people around the world was the deliberate shutdown of whole economies under the guise of a false pandemic so as destroy local production, place trade, logistics, and retail in the hands of a tiny cluster of conglomerates and concentrate wealth to an unprecedented degree. This “great reset” remaking of the West as an oligarchy, was marked by unprecedented levels of political repression and the complete end of freedom.

Such basic democratic rights as the right to protest, the right to free speech, the right to bodily autonomy, and the right to due process were summarily dismissed in the name of security and have only been partially restored since then—with only a further decay of human rights on many fronts.

Although a reformed market system that integrated many social welfare institutions from the socialist tradition existed after the Second World War, it has decayed back into the ruthless capitalism of the late 19th century with a push by corporations to end workers’ rights, end all healthcare and welfare, and privatized basic services. New technologies are introduced in the West not to advance society, but to suppress freedom of speech and implement a radical panopticon for all who are not billionaires.

Relentless wars, proxy wars, and regime change operations have become the main course in international relations and police repression, false flag attacks, and gang stalking are  becoming commonplace at home as the ruling classes of the West desperately attempt to prevent independent states from running their own affairs and citizens from exercising their rights.

Governments of the nations targeted by the G-7 and Five Eyes find themselves in an impossible bind. They and their allies bravely struggle to defend themselves against the predations of global capital, while, at the same time, they must work within the very global system that is defined to box them in.

As these states of the East denounce the brutal overreach of empire, they are forced to enter into one-sided agreements which the Western deep states which are undermined as soon as they are signed. The states of the East and their allies no sooner defeat one Western sponsored color “revolution” or “contra” insurgency, the intelligence agencies of the dark powers are hard at work launching the next campaign of imperialism in disguise.

The enforced dependence on petroleum and coal enforced by multinational corporations, combined with the reckless promotion of militarism has led to the relentless burning of fossil fuels that is permanently altering the climate and producing dangerous weather disasters – fires, floods, droughts, storms, hurricanes – that cost hundreds of thousands of lives. The spread of deserts makes increasing areas uninhabitable and agricultural production is collapsing in many regions.

A catastrophic collapse of biodiversity that could lead to human extinction has been set off by the decayed capitalist system which prioritises the private profits of a tiny handful of billion-dollar corporations at the expense of all else. Desertification, the pollution of the ocean, chemical fertilizer run off, deforestation and are ignored by the media and corrupt public intellectuals who promote fraudulent threats from North Korea and Iran.

The truth is that technologies required to move away from fossil fuel burning to low or zero emission power already exist, and have been partially implemented by some states, particularly the People’s Republic of China, but are opposed by the capitalists who profit from the current broken system.

The world is in desperate need of a fundamental revolution that alters the fundamental values and priorities promoted in our society and makes peace, not war, equality, not narcissistic wealth, justice, not indulgence and class privilege, the fundamental principles of our society.

Only a complete reordering of the structure of the economy so as to end war and exploitation as the driving force for growth, and the creation of an egalitarian society that ends the current plutocracy, can end the threat of cataclysmic war, and establish an order that addresses the basic needs of billions of working and poor people throughout the “First” and “Third” worlds.

The ruling elites of the West – the US, the European Union, the G7, NATO – are presiding over a crumbling profit-based economic system that depends on war and extraction of profit and cannot compete with the predominantly state-owned economies of the major BRICS powers like China, Russia and Iran. Sensing that their days are limited, these imperialist powers have turned to sanctions and war as their only recourse, abandoning democratic rights for their own citizens and brutally suppressing freedom of speech to preserve their control.

But the radical concentration of wealth, and the rise of militarism in the Western powers has stripped the fig leaf “rules based international order” from their brutal rule.

25 years into the 21st Century, the Western dominated world has lost what legitimacy it has by abandoning international law, arms control treaties, science and civilization itself in a crude and barbaric rush for wealth to satisfy the master class of billionaires. The BRICS bloc, although also wrestling with the contradictions of a global capitalist system, offers an alternative to the domination of Western imperialism since the Portuguese and Spanish conquests.  The scale of the threat from world war, climate change and the collapse of biodiversity, and the oppression of workers by the plutocrats using advanced technology has reached the point that all citizens of the Earth should embrace the alternatives that BRICS offer, adapt it to specific cultural and geographic conditions, and establish true self-administered communities of the people, for the people and by the people.

The International Revolutionary Committee, recognizing the scale of the current social, economic and civilizational crisis, especially in light of the exponential development of technology and the intentional destruction of scientific thinking and rational discourse on policy,  puts forward the following demands so as to bring a rapid end to this march towards genocide and the apocalypse, and uphold the best of human civilization, a peace economy and a transparent and accountable government dedicated to the needs of the people so as to offer hope and direction for future generations:

1. An end to the weaponization of medicine as a means to destroy the bodies of citizens through false pandemics and dangerous medications which are imposed through contrived threats, the misuse of the authority of experts, and the debasement of the scientific method.

2. A thorough international scientific investigation into the Kennedy Assassination, the 9/11 incident, the 10/7 incident and other false flag operations conducted by the invisible empire.

3. An end to the control of the economy and of intellectual discourse by a handful of the rich and powerful who promote the fossil fuels that are destroying our climate and demand an end to the extraction and exploitation of our natural world for profit that has brought on a catastrophic collapse of biodiversity.

4. We say no to nuclear war and no to regime change operations and proxy wars as “diplomacy” in an imperialist world order! We will end to the military industrial complex which constantly manufactures the “need” for more wars. Russia, China, Iran and their allies are NOT enemies.

5. The establishment of the right of all working people to employment, housing, health care and education.

6. We welcome technological advancements but demand that they must be used for positive purposes that improve the working conditions, living conditions and health of the people. They should not be used to exploit the people, or for surveillance and political repression.

7. We demand a guarantee of democratic rights for all citizens of the world, without exception, which includes the right to protest, the right to free speech, the right to bodily autonomy, and the right to participate in public life.

8. We demand a universal declaration that corporations, banks, and trusts are not people, and therefore cannot keep their transactions secret, cannot lobby, and cannot employ the law to advance their interests.

9. We demand the sustainable and healthy production of food the people through regulated systems that exclude the profit gouging and environmental destruction imposed by corporate agribusiness.

10. The circulation of currency and the determination of its value must be overseen by public entities rather than artificially created by corporations and banks that control central banks. Individuals may accumulate money, but the system for determining its value must be transparent, accountable, and run with the interests of workers as the highest priority.

11. We demand an open and censorship free internet and the concomitant expropriation of media monopolies, to be managed democratically on behalf of working people.
